One of the great things about photography is the unexpected moments we come across. As Autumn begins to fade into winter we are blessed with a wonderful show of colour amongst the trees. I had no expectation when I made this image. A walk with the Silver birches in Autumn is always special. With a chill in the air and patches of mist floating in the valley I came across this scene. Looking down into the base of the woodland helped give the image contrast from the colourful leaves with the mist softening the overall compostion.

This release is a limited edition print of 30 and is supplied at A3 size with a white border
