To create this photograph I had explored this particular area several times over the year. I found this spot and was hopeful that around the end of autumn it would make an interesting composition. One morning after the forecast had suggested mist in the valley I headed out. Luckily the conditions were correct and I managed to make this image I had planned earlier in the year.
