Whisperings
This body of work is inspired by the quiet presence of the birch tree. Often the pioneers of woodland landscapes, they stand as delicate yet resilient figures, each developing its own character as it grows, bends, and ages within the forest.
Walking among them, their personalities begin to reveal themselves. At times, from the corner of my eye, I sense movement, a subtle shifting within the trees, as though the woodland itself is quietly alive. Whispering. There is a feeling of presence here, something half-seen and half-felt.
These woods are places of escape and exploration. Immersed within them, the mind is given space to wander, and creativity begins to emerge. The landscape is never still; it exists in a continual state of transformation. Light changes, seasons turn, branches fall, new growth appears.
Each return visit feels different. What once felt familiar reveals something new.
This project continues the narrative of Forgotten Souls, exploring these remarkable trees as they evolve through the seasons.
